At our dojo, we are dedicated to conveying self-defense techniques and the spirit of harmony to children and their parents through the spirit and education of Aikido. Our operational policy is deeply rooted in the teachings of Aikido’s founder, Morihei Ueshiba, and aims not at the pursuit of financial gain but at making a substantial contribution to the community. As part of these teachings, we respect the importance of self-reflective argumentation, which means always questioning and improving our methods and teachings. To maintain this spirit, we do not charge the usual monthly fees but instead operate based on donations from the community and businesses, as well as subscriptions for information related to Aikido. This approach allows us to remain free from the influence of money and to keep the teachings of Aikido pure.

Currently, we hold classes using the gymnasiums of local schools and public facilities, and the revenue from donations and subscriptions is essential to continue these activities. These funds are allocated for the operational costs of the classes, provision of teaching materials, and expenses related to the education of Aikido. Additionally, our activities significantly contribute to the safety and crime prevention of children in the community.

Regarding donations, we prioritize transparency and accountability to our donors, ensuring that the support received is used appropriately. With your help, we can deliver the teachings of Aikido to more children and their families, promoting safety and harmony in the community.

Our dojo welcomes not only monetary but also in-kind donations. In particular, logs used for the production of wooden swords and staffs are very valuable for practice. Your support plays a significant role in realizing our Aikido education and our contribution to the community.
